Essay writing is basically placing your thoughts about a certain topic on paper, rather than saying out loud – which is speaking.  So you see, how you talk is basically how you write.  So ask yourself, when answering a question, how do you manage to answer it — well?  So generally, the same rules apply on how to write an essay and how prepare an answer or speech about something.
Here are ways on how to write an essay – a perfect essay:
Choose a Topic
This is generally the first step in essay writing.  First, know what you are going to be discussing or talking about to your readers.  If it’s something you are familiar with, then you may make use of your expertise on the subject.  If not, take time to research about it – it is important to get the facts ri

Plan the Essay
This is where you gather ideas to be “assembled” into your paragraphs.  Take note of the following: who, what, when, where, why, and how; if these questions can be answered by the contents of your essay, you’re on the right track.

Write a Draft
This is the part in essay writing is where you simply lay down your ideas in a way that you are most likely going to say it.  The first line expresses to the reader what the essay is all about.  This belongs to the Introduction paragraph – a short paragraph that introduces to the reader what the essay is all about, but not giving away too much information about it.

Next is the Body of the essay which may be consisted of one to five or more paragraphs.  This part provides the reader information about the topic.  And finally, the conclusion is a short paragraph that summarizes the body’s information, restates the main idea and puts a close to the essay.

Proofread and Edit
As you write your draft, you are simply focusing on pouring out your ideas.  So once you’ve done this, read it again.  You may notice some sentences that seem redundant, or some typographical errors, grammatical errors, and so on.  This is also the part where you review your content for plagiarism.  Plagiarism is a no-no — so be sure you cite your references accordingly. This is where you “polish” your essay.

Once you’re done with this, your essay is ready for publication, or simply submission to your professor.  How to write an essay is not difficult.  So now you won’t be wondering, “How could I write my essay perfectly?”   You already know, so go ahead and start writing!
